Porcelain Crowns – Our office provides you with state-of-the-art restorations to replace or enhance the outer layers of teeth damaged by wear, fractures, or size and color mismatches. These beautiful tooth-colored items are fabricated by some of the finest dental ceramists available and use various materials and layering techniques. They are cemented or bonded onto the remaining tooth structure.
Porcelain Veneers – These are beautiful facings that are bonded to the outer surfaces of teeth after a minimal amount of tooth reduction. Veneers can be used for cosmetic changes in a smile; including closing spaces, rebuilding fractured areas, and solving color and shape problems. The idea is to mimic Mother Nature at her best! They are generally bonded to the enamel surfaces on the outer layer of the teeth.
Composite Bonded Restorations – We believe that cosmetic “fillings” should also be the treatment of choice where there is limited damage to a tooth. In the past, silver amalgam alloys (which contain mercury) were used. Nowadays composite tooth-colored filling materials can be used which not only look better but also don’t carry any of the potential health risks of the old alloys. These are bonded into place to the intact tooth.

Our registered dental hygienists have the same training as those who provide care at the periodontal specialist’s office. You can trust that you are receiving top-notch treatment in their hands.
Routine Cleanings (Prophylaxis) – These skilled professionals will always be there for your continuing care appointments.
Deep Cleanings (Root Planings) – For those with more serious conditions, our hygiene department can focus on one section of your mouth at a time to optimize your gum health.
Periodontal Maintenance – As a follow-up for those who have had previous more complicated periodontal care (such as surgeries, laser treatments, or root planings), our hygienists are there to help keep your gum condition under control.

Fixed Bridges – A missing tooth can often be replaced by suspending the replacement tooth from adjoining crowns on neighboring teeth. The bridge is cemented or bonded permanently into your mouth.
Implants – An implant is a replacement for the root of a missing tooth. It is placed and then allowed to heal/integrate into the surrounding bone. After mending, the implant can be used to support a crown or to help retain a removable appliance.
Removable Appliances – Missing teeth can also be replaced using partial dentures held into position by the remaining teeth or complete dentures to replace the entire upper or lower arch.

Invisalign® is often the preferred method for tooth movement (orthodontics) for those not want traditional brackets and wires attached to their teeth. Instead, a series of aligner trays are scientifically designed using advanced cad-cam technology. These trays are changed every week or two to incrementally move teeth into the desired positions.
Dr. Maddox is a “preferred provider” for Invisalign®.

When the nerve chamber in a tooth fails (becomes necrotic or chronically inflamed), the tooth loses its ability to repair itself. This condition can result in pain or infection.
Endodontics (ie – Root Canal Treatment) is then performed to mitigate the situation. The nerve chamber is entered through the top of the tooth and damaged nerve tissue is removed, canals are sterilized and shaped, and the space is internally filled (obturated) to the end of the root.
Unlike the common stigma for the dreaded “root canal,” this procedure is normally accomplished with minimal, if any, discomfort.
